Temper tantrums are developmentally appropriate for little ones. That doesn't make them easier to deal with. Here's what works.

Temper tantrums are the way that young children express emotions they are not developmentally able to express in other ways. Does knowing that the kicking and screaming is completely developmentally appropriate make it any easier for parents to deal with? Sometimes.
