Forming a Stronger Bond with Our Kids

Forming a Stronger Bond with Our Kids

Do you worry that you're not forming a strong bond with your toddler, or have lost the bond you used to have? Plenty of things could be contributing to that fact, and none of them are your fault.

How do we form a strong bond with our kids when we're struggling with our own issues, when we've just been through a worldwide pandemic, when we used to have that bond but have lost it somewhere along the way? Molly and Blaire discuss:

  • Things that can get in the way of the parent-child bond
  • Small yet meaningful ways to communicate to your child that you love them
  • What asking for help may look like for different people

Resist the urge to blame yourself if you feel your bond is suffering or has deteriorated. There are many factors that contribute to the problem that are outside your control.
